MIGFO EXPORT PROCESSING TERMINAL (EPT) PROCEDURES

  1. Agent/Exporter sign-up:
    Register on the MIGFO website at info@migfonigeria.com or visit the MIGFO Export Processing Terminal located at Amuwo-Odofin Industrial Estate, by Ijesga Bus Stop, Apapa-Oshodi Express Road.

  2. Free Counseling Session: Agent/Exporter can access a free counseling session by emailing exportdesk@migfonigeria.com, calling the export coordinator, Rose Oshiokhale at 0803 702 1169, or visiting the MIGFO Export Processing Terminal to learn about the three core export services offered by MIGFO EPT.

  3. Complete Gate-in Form:
    The Agent/Exporter logs into the MIGFO Gate-in Portal and completes the EPT Gate-in form, providing all relevant transaction information for their export containers. Note: Export booking must be completed at least 21 days before the arrival date of the targeted vessel.

  4. Truck Details Submission:
    MIGFO EPT generates and sends the schedule of export containers and truck identity details to Truck Transit Park Ltd (TTP) for ETO Call-up. Note: Scheduled trucks must comply with the Minimum Safety Standard (MSS) to be called up.

  5. Gate-in Approval:
    The Agent/Exporter prints the MIGFO EPT Gate-in approval and provides a copy to the truck driver, along with the driver's license and other required documents. The driver must present the official gate-in identification to access the MIGFO EPT.

  6. Examination Form:
    The Agent/Exporter picks up the examination form from Customs Services once the container is dropped off and proceeds to the relevant government agencies at the MIGFO EPT to submit all required documents for clearance and any necessary follow-ups.

  7. Authorization Letter:
    The Agent/Exporter must issue a letter of authorization to MIGFO EPT for any individual representing them. Please note: Only one representative is permitted for examination.

  8. Examination and Sealing:
    After successful examination, MIGFO EPT, along with the relevant government agencies, will supervise the sealing of the containers and the subsequent release by Customs. The container will then be moved to the appropriate Port Terminal.

  9. Security:
    Security at MIGFO EPT is maintained 24/7 to ensure the safety of containers and the integrity of the export process, including examination.
